Artist's Comments

This is the second Mala I've ever made; the first was just pretty much experimentation and familiarizing myself with the materials and different methods of making a Mala. This one was all about craftsmanship and care after I had figured out more effective ways to make the Mala.

I think I want to start making these on a regular basis for people, as I fully intend to use the one I end up keeping for myself, and I want the other ones I make to be functional and helpful to others as well. The only problem is I know very few people who would actually use them, let alone simply want one! I however think they are beautiful, even in the simplest of designs.

I just had to Wiki what a Mala is ;)

But this is very beautiful, I love the colours that you have used here. I really love the jade beads that you've used.

Thank you XD One day I'll be able to make a real one with quality materials, but I really like how this one turned out. <3

Oh wow, pretty! I also had to look up what a mala was, but I think I've seen them about in animes and movies and stuff. Something almost like a rosary. I wouldn't know what to do with them personally (aside from putting them on display), but just from an artist standpoint, they're really nice! Good job!
